Dr. Scott A. Koplon earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and performed a one year residency at the Veterans Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. A graduate from The Dental Implant Institute of Las Vegas, he is a certified member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Alabama Dental Association (ALDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Institute of Implant Dentistry (AIID). Dr. Koplon is also a member of Cerinate’s Lumineer Preferred Dental program for the state of Alabama.

Dr. Koplon consistently develops his cosmetic and surgical practice with an aesthetic approach, helping patients achieve the smile they’ve always wanted while continued to expand his practice and capabilities. Through continued education courses, on-going skill set enhancement and regularly updating office technology, Dr. Koplon’s dual mindset of strengthening his knowledge and abilities in order to better all aspects of our patient care reflects in his devotion to provide patients quality oral healthcare in a reassuring atmosphere.

Dr. Koplon has been a resident of Birmingham for more than 45 years and has been practicing dentistry in his Leeds office for more than 28 years. He is married to his lovely wife Amy and has three children: Adam, Joshua and Jordan. When he is not at the office, he enjoys time with his family and running with his dog, Buddy.
